The following is a series of daily crime and incident reports issued by the University of Missouri-St. Louis Police Department from Aug. 19 through 23.
Aug. 19, 2018: At 6:58 a.m. a Sodexo employee was reported stuck in a service elevator and UMSL PD responded.
Aug. 20, 2018: A wallet was found at 2:27 p.m. in the Millennium Garage South and was turned into UMSL PD for safe-keeping. At 7:10 p.m. an UMSL student experienced chest pains and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Aug. 21, 2018: At 2:00 p.m. a student fell in Clark Hall and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. A watch was turned in to UMSL PD at 3:30 p.m.
Aug. 22, 2018: At 12:00 p.m. an abandoned vehicle was found in Lot Q by UMSL PD. A student reported their laptop and cash were stolen from an unsecured locker in the Rec & Wellness Center at 12:22 p.m. At 1:00 p.m. UMSL PD was contacted by a student who did not want to formally report an incident. A father and student were observed arguing by an UMSL bike officer at 3:00 p.m. At 10:29 p.m. a custodian reported a restroom in the Social Science Learning Building was damaged.
Aug. 23, 2018: A student reported their iPad and laptop were stolen from an unsecured locker in the Rec & Wellness Center at 7:30 a.m. At 11:34 a.m. a student reported their laptop as stolen; the item was later recovered. A student reported their car was stuck and damaged at 12:14 p.m. in the West Drive Garage. At 2:15 p.m. there was an auto accident with no injuries on West Drive. In the Provincial House, a student was transported to the hospital by ambulance after passing out at 3:18 p.m. At 4:00 p.m. a laptop was turned into UMSL PD and later returned to the student. A student reported their parked car was stuck and damaged at 6:30 p.m. in the West Drive Garage.
