The following is a series of daily crime and incident reports issued by the University of Missouri-St. Louis Police Department between March 9 and 15.
March 9: At 3:20 a.m., a suspicious person was reported at the Kathy Weinman Center. A homeless person was escorted from campus. At 12:18 p.m., an UMSL student reported a lost Ipad in the Millennium Student Center.
March 10: At 12:05 a.m., UMSL PD and Residence Life responded to a loud party at University Meadows. The resident’s music was turned down.
March 11: At 1 a.m., a suspicious person was seen at Mansion Hill. An UMSL student reported an unknown male outside of building 1, no one was located. At 3 a.m., an UMSL officer found an UMSL student’ backpack in the MSC. The owner was notified. At 3:40 p.m., an UMSL student was treated and released by paramedics after complaining about being light headed at Mansion Hill. A delayed report was give from a student at University Meadows. An UMSL student reported being sexually assaulted by an unknown male that entered their apartment and displayed a handgun. The incident occurred around 4:00 a.m. See Clery release 18-05.
March 12: At 12:30 p.m., an auto accident occurred on Lot I between two vehicles. Minor damage and no injuries were reported. At 3:06 p.m., UMSL PD was notified of a large amount of blood in the walkway behind Oak Hall. At 4:19 p.m., UMSL PD responded to an argument between an UMSL student and a friend at University Meadows. At 5:39 p.m., cash was found at Provincial House and turned in to UMSL PD. At 6:03 p.m., UMSL PD and Northeast FD responded to a minor kitchen fire in Mansion Hill. There was no damage and the fire was extinguished by a resident.
March 13: A found backpack was turned in to UMSL PD at 1:50 a.m. in Marillac Hall. The owner was notified. Suspect in Clery Release 18-05 was arrested. An unknown male approached tow UMSL students asking inappropriate questions at the MSC at 2:20 p.m. UMSL PD was notified by Normandy PD that an UMSL student vehicle was stolen overnight and had been recovered in St. Louis City at 2:33 p.m. An UMSL filed a delayed report of two rings stolen from their room at University Meadows. UMSL PD found a Visa card in West Drive Garage at 11 p.m.
March 14: An UMSL student reported their parked car was broken into and nothing taken at University Meadows at 1:30 p.m. An UMSL student reported at 12:09 p.m. a fraudulent banking transaction after accepting what appeared to be an online job. UMSL students reported an individual on the parking lot during morning hours of Mansion Hill at 2:02 p.m. A found key was turned in to UMSL PD at 10:15 p.m. found in the Social Science Building.
March 15: At 2:17 p.m., an UMSL student was transported to the hospital via ambulance after feeling weak in Bellerieve Hall. At 4:20 p.m., another UMSL student was treated and released by paramedics after feeling lightheaded at the Recreation and Wellness Center. At 5:51 p.m., UMSL PD checked the area with Residential Life after a girl was screaming at University Meadows. Students were contacted and all was in order. At 5:47 p.m., an UMSL student reported a threatening text from another student. At 9:15 p.m., an UMSL student was transported to the hospital after cutting themselves in Oak Hall.
