The following is a series of daily crime and incident reports issued by the University of Missouri-St. Louis Police Department from Aug. 12 through 16.

Aug. 12, 2018: At 10:04 p.m. UMSL PD assisted the St. Louis County PD with the arrest of an individual on the MetroLink platform.

Aug. 13, 2018: A sleeping individual was observed for sleeping under a tree on East Drive at 5:40 a.m. The individual was arrested for having outstanding warrants.

Aug. 14, 2018: UMSL PD assisted the Missouri Highway Patrol with an automobile accident on HWY 70 at 8:27 a.m. Later, at 3:23 p.m. UMSL PD assisted St. Louis County PD with controlling a fight that broke out on MetroLink.

Aug. 15, 2018: At 8:04 a.m. a non-student stole food and a t-shirt from the MSC and was arrested. Then, at 2:43 p.m., UMSL PD verified a sex offender registration. Later, a contractor requested information regarding an accident and was referred to the correct jurisdiction at 4:12 p.m. At 5 p.m. an UMSL staff member reported a fraudulent attempt to take funds from a non-profit they are associated with. Lastly, at 10:52 p.m., a bookbag was reported stolen and then returned.

Aug. 16, 2018: A fire alarm was responded to and reported as a malfunction at 2:03 p.m. At 3:45 p.m. an UMSL student refused medical attention in the Rec & Wellness Center after suffering a shoulder injury.
